First things first! Hope you're having a good life, solstice is upon us, lighter days are coming! Below are some of the pieces I did for my first quarter in the scientific illustration program! I learned a lot this quarter. Most importantly, how to effectively use graphite and PEN AND INK. Stippling is life! I never understood the letters/numbers on graphite pencils and always used one for one drawing but graphite is like colored pencil, you don't use one shade for one color. . . more like 5. I love pen and ink, I think inktober pushed me into it as well but stippling has such a polished, professional look. The intro to photoshop workshops were also a treasure chest of knowledge for me, I've never used used the program before and it's essential in the industry. I even resized all these photos for web (wowzers, look at me!) I did do a couple assignments again outside of class through my own colored pencil style, below. Looking forward to next quarter but I now have an exciting commission to tackle!

It's really cool to see your work in these other mediums! There is always something else to learn! :D Happy Solstice Erin!
