A lot has happened over the summer. Lots of fun summer events and now settling in to a short term retail location in South Lake Union. I left the Greenwood Art Collective to a retail/studio space in August. This space allows for me to work but also have a retail shop open to the public. It's kind of like an open working studio. Whenever I am here working, anyone is welcome to come in, see the space, buy something, hang out. Just two blocks from the Seattle Center, it's super central and accessible to swing by. This retail space has been a journey. The previous owners left in a hurry during the pandemic and was left as-is. So there was A LOT of work to get it to where it is today, and there's still a lot of work to go. Below is a few photos of how it looks. Below is some newer work over this year. Below are the upcoming events of November! It's fun to start expanding studio events. You can sign for the studio events via lu.ma HERE: lu.ma/ArtClub

May is an exciting month of events! I was a co-creator for the May artwork at the Greenwood Art Collective. It was a unique experiential installation with Sunshine and installation pieces from the Art Club Community, Jorge Cainas, food provided by Bakescapade and a vinyl set by Muning Sunshine https://www.instagram.com/sunshine_by_daniel/ Art Club Community www.instagram.com/artclub_community/ Jorge Cainas https://www.instagram.com/jorge.cainas.art/ Bakescapade https://www.instagram.com/bakescapade_/ Muning Music https://www.instagram.com/muningmusic/ I have my work up at Dippy Fun in Ballard all month! You can buy a framed print off the wall but I also have a variety of stickers and prints alone for sale there. This is one of the cutest stores in Seattle, lots of unique stationery, zines, stickers, and other fun items.
Market season is upon us! March was a huge bust for markets. The weather was not having me. Not only was my canopy destroyed but so was about $2000 worth of prints- good times lol. I finally invested in a pretty sweet canopy and have several new Seattle prints available. Check them out below :)
I kind of got obsessed with making fun psychedelic boarders last month and decided to make them into little gift notes! I have six designs in different two color combos all on thick ivory paper. I'm also really happy with the gift note bands lol. Really, I feel like half the battle is how to package things in a sleek manner by myself with affordable, sustainable materials. These will be available at my studio or other in person events. Next Greenwood Art Collective event is the PINK PARTY Feb 9th 6-10pm. See you there! :D Two new items up on my Etsy and available at in person events. Woo hoo! (Yes, I am still working on the mushrooms of the PNW print) We got a pretty sweet mushroom sticker sheet featuring 10 different mushroom stickers. And an 11” x 17” riso print of a temperate rainforest scene.
I got the most beautiful backdrop for a gallery wall of my work and the cutest model- Sophie! I always love seeing how people frame up their prints and how it fits in their space. Please tag me on instagram if you take a photo, I love seeing and sharing!!
The 2024 riso calendar is done! Excited to be using flat gold, a new studio color! I print out of Paper Press Punch in Georgetown, I highly recommend taking any of their classes to learn more about the riso process or up your skills.
This is an 11” x 17” print on ivory paper, printed in florescent pink, sunflower, burgundy, and flat gold. The usual, I collected the specimens, drew them, designed the calendar, and printed them! 100% done by me, ships in 100% biodegradable packaging. You can find them on me Etsy. The linking mechanism through Weebly has been pretty jank, can’t seem to link just a word. Anywho, I am around at a variety of markets this holiday season, you can snag one in person and online. While I am greatly looking forward to 2024, there’s a lot to do the rest of this year. :D GreenZines has been growing, come join us every last Friday of the month, 7pm at the Greenwood Art Collective. 8537 Greenwood Ave N, door on 85th will be unlocked. If you’re able to donate money, paper, snacks, drinks, whatever you can- that would be awesome! November is a busy one! I’m excited to be trying out the winter version of the Fremont Sunday market under the Fremont Bridge and a few new holiday markets.
I have been working on A LOT of studio expansion/changes coming up early next year. Stay tuned! Oh look at this nice promo video! This was kindly filmed by Joe Keil. I’m super awkward but hey-ho, what else is new.
For those interested, another collective artist (Heather) and I host GreenZines every last Friday of the month at my studio in the Greenwood Art Collective. Anyone and everyone is welcome to come! You can work on our collective zine (GreenZines), you can work on your own zine, or really, you can work on whatever art project you’d like! We start at 7 and go till whenever. Generally, we print the zine on a later date but have it ready by the next artwalk for pick up, which is the 2nd Friday of the month. Next GreenZine meet up is Sept. 29th. We’re building around a spooky/history of the building theme. ;) Summer is nearing its chaotic end! Some exciting changes are in store for fall :D But until them, lets hang out in the lingering light! Some new work includes a poster design for new band, Maiden Moss, merch for Canadian band Booster Fawn, and a collective project- GreenZines! GreenZines is a monthly meet up for anyone interested to make a zine or your own project.
