Medical Murals and Such!

Alas! The completed mural! I was given free range to do whatever I wanted in the medical clinic office. While in the patient care room, it had to be more simple. As villagers aren't used to contemporary art and while they're sick sure isn't the best time to introduce them.  So I did my style in the medical office (no office is complete without a psychedelic mural! ) and a simple, fun mural in the patient room to hopefully raise their spirits.

I LOVED doing the mural which may be an understatement. It proved a bit of a challenge since the materials are sparse. Used a piece of wood was a straight edge,  found scrap tape measure bits as a ruler, while painting on a very chunky concrete surface. 

So this post seems a bit janked, I've been working for days on multiple devices to try and get a post out.  This is going to have to suffice for now. With all the power outages and lack of understanding of the tablet,  i just want to get something out. The top pic is the office mural, others are random drawings from my sketchbook,  which have been getting better and better.  I'm currently in Pokhara, Nepal which is an amazing place. I feel like I've gone back in time to the 60's. Quite the inspiring place to say the least. It's nice to lounge on the pillows by the lake and draw all day. :)

I've heard India is much better with Internet,  but I'll keep trying here. It's only letting me post pics from my tablet camera,  which is super shitty and have only the one photo of the mural. Anyways, have an amazing day! ;)
