For my first time participating in inktober I decided to do a leaf drawing a day. I didn't get to it every day but still did quite a few and I'm surprised to see how it evolved. Through the month I learned about stippling with India Ink and absolutely love it. Especially from a sustainability aspect. I hated always having to throw out micron pens. With India Ink, I got a large bulk container of ink, a wooden/cork pen, and metal nibs! So I'm very excited to explore this medium and start to wean off micron pens, or any other plastic pen for that matter. Looking through these drawings you can really see how different pen types really affect the overall look of the piece. Overall, it was great to draw plants!
