Pieces up at Annie's Art and Frame in Ballard, right now! They're up through the 2nd week of May. AND I did an awesome letterpress print collaboration with them to make the cute mini poster on the right. A limited edition run, you can purchase them at the shop for another 2 weeks! After that, they're gone forever. There's also 5 postcard designs for sale there.
To the left here was a live painting session at Blue Moon, which was a spectacular travesty of a painting. Let us move on to UPCOMING SHOWS!

Well it's been awhile. Hello! Things are always afoot but I've been doing a terrible job keeping my website up to date. Apologies interweb users! Here's some past, present, and upcoming event deets:
A big reason I haven't been updating is I've been focused on helping organize this amazing arts and action festival, Cascadia Convergence. The annual gathering and strategy planning of the bioregional movement. I did the above poster and you can find more info and sign up here!
Oh hey, look at this! Colored pencil poster I did for an upcoming event on April 7th I'll be live painting at. Yay! This will actually be a pretty amazing show, it's a great line up and YOU SHOULD WEAR YOUR MOST PSYCHEDELIC OUTFIT YOU COULD POSSIBLY CREATE! Ok now that's out of the way, here's the players:
Filthy Femcorps: All female, all bad-ass, marching band.
Sunflower Sutra: A psychedelic world wonder.
Fruit Juice: A glittery good time.
I'll be live painting during Sunflower Sutra's set. Maybe I'll bring some vegan tasty goods, maybe you will, who knows! This is actually my birthday shindig, I haven't seen you in a while or maybe ever- so you really should come. . . IN YOUR PSYCHEDELIC BEST! ;)
I have pieces up at Horizon Books this month. It should have been the work of the amazingly talented Rani Laik, but his car broke down in the freeway a bit out of town and was unable to make it. So next month you can catch his work! This was the first time Horizon Books participated in the Capitol Hill artwalk. We had music, poetry, spoken word, and art! It went pretty well. Check out the space, it's next to neumos down the ramp at 1423 10th Ave.
I actually work at the bookstore, so feel free to pop in and say hello, peruse the books. Postcards, prints, and originals are on sale here. Maybe I'll be seeing you around!
Things have been happening, I've been terrible at updating. I do have an instagram if you're into that sort of thing, @erinfox24 be me. Top photo is from the Axis show- SO BEAUTIFUL and cool how 3 very different types of art fit so well together (photo NOT taken by me). Did some live painting at the Chinatown Christmas Party Part 1. I've also been playing around with pens as seen below.

March 1st, 2018: Collin's Pub
526 2nd Ave
This will be debuting a new collaboration series I'm working on with an amazing local musician. Series will be up for 2 months, opening reception during pioneer Square Artwalk.
This was a really fun start, a doodle music jam. Surprised I've never done it before, it's the best! 32" x 44" on thick paper. I used art sticks for the most part which enabled me to get it done in 4 days, yeowza. Albeit with a blister on my thumb. Then I went over the entire thing with regular pencils which took a good 4 hours.
Because this was a collaboration with the very talented Jose Simonet you should check out some of his tunes through the band, Sunflower Sutra. Good stuff!
This was from a small sketch I did a month or so ago that I found hilarious. i would look at it and laugh. With a stroke of luck, my housemate gave me some extra large thick paper from his work that was going to be junked. So of course, I had to do a giant version of the sketch.
It's really influenced by where I'm at, this drawing would never have happened if I didn't live here. That's neat to think about and appreciate even more this wonderful space I call home. This colored pencil drawing was actually all done with art sticks, basically just blocks of color instead of in pencil form. I never use them since they're so clunky. So the edges are a bit rough, no detail, no blending but it works as it is and I probably love it too much.
15" x 20" ballpoint pen, what what!? Cascadia sky cat. The arrows were to be people fighting eachother since there's so much fighting for minds nowadays. With eachother over nothing, over racism, over structural issues of the country, with white supremacists trying to co-opt the Cascadia movement. But I opted for the easy arrow. Cheapskate!
For some reason this is really dark and fuzzy. Here it is. Colored pencil and I believe it's 15"x 20"
Hello! I'm Cascadian colored pencil artist extraodinaire.
