The speed at which social media sites evolve, I never seem able to keep up. People often ask if I have a twitter account and facebook page. No and no, I got a website and that's hard enough for me to keep up. But! I was really blown away with some findings I recently discovered.
At the Fremont Artwalk a wonderful young chap asked to take my picture. Ok! Why not? We talked briefly and he gave me his card saying the photo would be on his blog in a couple days. Neato! So a few days go by and I check out his stuff. Seriously awesome photos, the eyes in his pictures are absolutely stunning. I see my picture and HOLYCRAP, it looks so good! I notice there are notes on the bottom, hmmm, I wonder what that means. Click it- and other people have reblogged the photo. Wow, how cool! I check out a couple blogs that posted the photo and am pretty impressed with the internet at this point. Then I see below the picture is information on the pic, my name, when and where it was taken. I see my name can be clicked on, hmmmm, wonder where this goes. . . OH MY GOD it's a link to my website! And my mind was blown. What a cool, amazing thing! I feel like I should thank all those people. Thank you!!! But especially thank you Hobbes Ginesberg for enabling this awesomeness and taking great photos :) Check out his stuff here: http://www.hobbesginsberg.com/ Here's a link to the photo: http://hhobbess.tumblr.com/post/54848238615/erin-fox-her-art-show-seattle-july-2013
